Each Insert Remover Tool is precision machined on 3 sides of blade so that inserts can be removed without being destroyed and is hardened for strength & durability. The torque bar at top makes grip removal a snap. Includes 1 year warranty replacement. 3 sizes available (7/8”, 31/32”, 1-1/32”) or 3 piece set. -
This handy little tool is used to remove dust and loose particles from the bottom of finger and thumb holes. It easily fits over the end of most power vacuum hoses. The extended tube measures 5 1/2" length and 1/2" in diameter. Get to the bottom of your dust troubles with the Turbo-Vac. -
For shops doing a high volume of Switch Grip™ installation, the Reamer End Mill has 8 cutting edges ensuring optimum drill and fit for easy Outer Sleeve installation. Because of the deeper drill depth of the Outer Sleeve and the dense core materials/designs used in many high tech bowling balls, a traditional 1 ½” drill may drift off center, more so toward the bottom of hole. This off center cut will make the Outer Sleeve more difficult to fit properly at bottom because it is tight. Keep in mind the Outer Sleeve is designed to be a press fit and should never be forced into position. If the Outer Sleeve is forced into hole, the Inner Sleeve will not fit properly and be very difficult to insert and remove. The Reamer End Mill ensures a better fit from top to bottom of hole. Aids in lifting an Inner Sleeve insert up and out of a tight thumb hole. Removable inserts can become difficult to remove when a ball core expands due to hot/cold climate changes or simply over time as the ball absorbs lane oil. Ball core expansion puts pressure on the Switch Grip Outer Sleeve which causes difficulty in removing or turning the Inner Sleeve. The Jack aids in removing Inner Sleeves that tighten up in ball. Colors may vary. -
Switch Grip® Interchangeable Inserts consist of ONLY TWO components, an Outer Sleeve that is permanently glued into your thumb hole, and an Inner Sleeve, which can be removed and used amongst all of your equipment. Unlike the smooth, quick release of our Urethane solids, Xcel thumb sleeves have a grainy texture when finished and aid in slowing release or gaining grip. This product is often recommended for bowlers with very dry skin. For retail convenience, the soft, vinyl blend of material makes Xcel Thumb Inserts easy to drill and cut without the use of a router or plug cutter.
