Turbo Bowling Accessories has reached an exclusive agreement with RockTape™ to represent and distribute RockTape™ products in the bowling industry.

Chesterfield, MI, June 13, 2016 –  RockTape™ is the world leader in kinesiology tape, education, research, and functional fitness accessories. The tape can be used to treat sports and non-sports injuries, including shin splints, runner’s knee and back pain. Stretchier, stickier and stronger than the competition, RockTape™ is preferred by athletes and medical professionals throughout the world.

“The Turbo brand is regarded worldwide as a leader in developing original bowling accessories like the first neon colored grip, urethane thumb solid, Switch Grip and more,” said Lori Mraz, President of Turbo Bowling Accessories. “Our partnership with RockTape™ represents our continued commitment to bring unique and exceptional products to the sport.”

“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Turbo,” said RockTape™ CEO Greg van den Dries. “Bowlers have been using kinesiology tape for decades, and until now have had to settle for products that were good, but never great.”

Along with Mraz, Turbo Representatives have been specifically trained and certified in Flexible Movement Techniques (FMT). National Sales Manager Chris Sand and Regional Sales Manager JR Raymond will help bowlers and bowling retailers better understand the ‘taping movement’ and the concept of muscles acting as a chain.

“Kinesiology tape has been successfully used by athletes in many sports for quite some time,” said Mraz. “We’re looking forward to working with the RockTape™ team to not only share their products, but their knowledge and expertise in Flexible Movement Technology with the bowling industry.”

According to van den Dries, the partnership between Turbo and RockTape™ is an excellent opportunity to put RockTape™ in the hands of bowlers and equip them properly for success.

“RockTape™ was born in the heat of competition and will withstand the demands that professional and amateur bowlers subject themselves to,” he said. “Regardless if used on arms, legs, shoulders or knees, RockTape™ will help these athletes go stronger, longer.”

Turbo will debut the product at International Bowl Expo, from June 29-30 in Las Vegas. A Certified Rock Doc will give live demonstrations on various kinesiology taping techniques.  Those in attendance are invited to stop by booth #945 during trade show hours. In addition to International Bowl Expo, RockTape™ will also be featured at over 15 regional trade shows this summer. Download the complete Tradeshow Calendar ibpsia.com.
